Travel Franchise SuccessI've worked in travel all my working life. 25 years working for a major high street brand, acting as a branch trouble shooter for under performing shops, a training co-ordinator and for the last 5 years as a manger of one of their top stores in the south.

In recent times the enjoyment and sense of fulfilment had gone from the job as I simply became a 'head office' robot. Everything became about cost cutting and targets, volume and cut backs. We were told what to sell to what customers with very little choice.

Within the first week of working with Not Just Travel my wife commented on how happier I looked and more relaxed.

I opted to start with what I knew, selling holidays. It was so much easier than what I was use to. I had access to more holiday companies than ever before, more scope to price match or discount; give the customer more choice and more. I was under less pressure to perform and as a result I spent more quality time with customers with more of them booking with me.

As well as getting an influx of enquiries from friends, family and people I knew, Not Just Travel helped me with local marketing which brought in a variety of new business. I also supplemented my enquiries by taking enquiries from head office. As a result, in my first month I was able to earn as much as I was earning full time with my previous company, working the hours I wanted and spending more time at home with my family.

I've now moved on to developing the franchise. I've begun recruiting Travel Consultants to work with me, increasing my income opportunity and ultimately leading to reducing the amount of work I have to do, while maintaining my income and lifestyle.
