The Business Person of the Year at the Central South Business Awards is the latest trophy in our collection.
The prestigious awards, which celebrate the remarkable businesses in the region – and the people that work for them – were announced last night at a ceremony in Southampton.
Steve, who’s based in Dorset, in the south of England, graciously accepted the award crediting his co-founding business partner Paul Harrison and our team. Together they have proved to be a powerhouse of innovation within travel, winning numerous awards.
The judges particularly like our empathetic business style, supporting franchisees and staff during the pandemic. They also appreciated the trailblazing Climate Hero project and the inspiration given to franchisees, the next generation of business leaders.
During his speech, Steve said:
“My business ethic has always been that by helping others be successful, I can be successful too. It led me to business success before The Travel Franchise and continues to be the mantra that Paul and I follow. Everything we do, we do to improve the working lives of our franchisees.”
