“We were looking for a better quality of life with more financial stability and flexible hours”
I previously worked as an Estate agent and my wife was a nurse, but we were looking for a better quality of life with more financial stability and flexible hours. We started our travel business part-time but have now been able to take it full-time which has changed our lives massively.
What a typical day looks like for me
We go networking twice a week, which means a 5am wake up but we really find the networking invaluable to growing our business. Nicki will work full-time, but I usually work in the evenings until around 10pm as I am still working on my other business too, although very soon I hope to also work full time on our travel business. If I’m working from home I’ll often have a flexible schedule which consists of making calls to customers and suppliers, dealing with enquiries, and walking the dogs when I have a little downtime.
You get out what you put in
I’ve attended the Millionaire’s Retreat, Elite Experience and several training events which have all been incredibly valuable to growing our business together. If you listen to what Steve and Paul tell you, you will succeed. It takes hard work in the beginning, but you get out what you put in. Our main goal when joining The Travel Franchise was to get our money back via the ‘Money Back Challenge’. We worked very hard and managed to succeed in just 10 months, which has really given us the confidence to put even more time and effort into our business. Not Just Travel is like one big family, and everyone is so friendly and helpful so don’t be afraid if you don’t have any previous experience in travel, as you’ll never feel alone throughout your journey.
