Jumbo Stay, Sweden

Aviation enthusiasts need to add this one to the list. This incredible stay is set in a Boeing – 747 jet. You can choose to sleep in the flight deck or one of the other 30 rooms available. You can take a walk along the left-wing observation deck and experience the feeling of standing on top of the jumbo jet’s wing. All rooms at Jumbo Stay have a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi and either a private or a shared bathroom. A communal balcony is located by the cockpit and offers long runway views. The 747-212B was originally built for Singapore Airlines in 1976, but now remains a quirky place to rest your head at Arlanda airport.

Conrad Rangali Island, Maldives

The incredible draw here is The Muraka, a first-of-its-kind, luxury two-level residence with a master bedroom submerged 16feet below sea level in the Indian Ocean. Above water in your residence, you’ll find an outdoor deck with infinity pool, private jet skis, private butler and chef as well as an on-call fitness trainer and spa treatments. Then make your way down the spiral staircase or elevator to your master bedroom, complete with a 180-degree curved acrylic dome with floor-to-ceiling windows and a dedicated tunnel viewing theatre.

Costa Verde, Costa Rica

Set on a coastal rainforest bluff nestled between Manuel Antonio National park and Pacific Ocean vista, Hotel Costa Verde is a vacation of adventures with an experience, unlike anything you’ve ever imagined. Here you can stay in a 727 fuselage, equipped with meticulous detail and 2 bedrooms, you’ll feel like you’re flying through the rainforest. Spend your evening relaxing on the terrace while sipping a glass of wine and observing your fellow neighbours; sloths, toucans, monkeys and more!

Skylodge Adventure Suites, Peru

Located in the Secret Valley of Cuzco, these luxury capsules allow you the chance to sleep within a completely transparent hanging bedroom while appreciating the impressive view of the magic and mystic valley. There’s just one catch…to sleep here, you must climb 400ft of Via Ferrate or hike an intrepid trail through ziplines. Handcrafted out of aerospace aluminium and weather-resistant polycarbonate, each suite comes complete with four beds, a dining area and a private bathroom.

Free Spirit Spheres, Vancouver Islands

Look no further for a one of a kind getaway. These cool, quirky and truly unique spherical treehouses offer an exquisite combination of back-to-nature experience with the trendy rise of ‘glamping’. Set among the coastal rainforest of Vancouver Island, British Columbia you can spend a night or two in trees where you will find peace and relaxation. The inspiration came in the 1990s and creative director, Tom, carefully directs each and every step of construction.
