The Travel Franchise Mid-Year Conference

Attended by Over 200 at Edgbaston Cricket Ground

We have been expanding so quickly at The Travel Franchise that we decided to host a mid-year conference for our Travel Consultants, to announce some more exciting updates that we have been developing behind the scenes to help them further their businesses.

The theme of the conference was ‘Continual, Never-ending Improvement’ which is what we constantly strive for at The Travel Franchise.

We thought you may be interested in hearing about the initiatives we announced at the conference. They were:

Mini Cooper competition

This is an industry first, no other Travel Homeworking agency has offered the opportunity to drive away with a Mini Cooper to each and every Travel Consultant who attended the conference on the 9th June! In essence with, ‘continual, never-ending improvement‘ each and every Travel Consultant has the opportunity to drive away with a Mini, simply by increasing their sales each month for 3 months.

Superhero support 

We know we give excellent support compared to our competitors, however we always want to do better! We now offer mega, ‘super hero’ support for all of our Travel Consultants, which includes:

  • All new Helpdesk which makes it easier / quicker for us to respond
  • Opportunity to schedule a call with HQ staff
  • Live chat
  • WhatsApp
  • New online training centre
  • New ‘suggestion’ box for Travel Consultants

Package Travel Regulation (PTR)

You may have heard in the news that the Package Travel Regulation is due to be released on the 1st July. The government only confirmed what it will include on Friday 8th June – but we have been aware of it and have been preparing for it for a while now so we briefed our Travel Consultants on what it means to them and how we are supporting them.

Star Council

At the conference, we launched the ‘Star Council’ – made up of a team of 6 franchisees, who represent the voice of all Travel Consultants.

New Travel Websites

At the conference, we announced that we are working on the launch of two new fantastic websites for our travel consultants. These are currently being built by an industry-leading digital technology company to help your online presence soar.

New Marketing Materials

We have created a brand new range of marketing materials for our Travel Consultants which we launched. They have a fresh new look, they’re printed on quality materials and they will really help each and every one of our Travel Consultants sell sell sell!!

Partners in Travel

At the conference, we launched three new materials to help make it easier to sell Partners in Travel (PIT) . PIT Prospecting cards, PIT Prospectus and a PIT Launch Plan. Such a simple concept, with such great results – now made even easier!


We announced another amazing NJT FAM Trip* (although the destination is still our secret at the moment!) Our NJT FAM Trips are win-win – the Travel Consultants get an amazing free trip abroad, but also increase their knowledge AND their sales!

*A FAM Trip is when a group of Travel Consultants go abroad to learn about a destination and/or supplier. They are free of charge and an amazing learning experience… they’re also great fun!

Sales Team

At our November conference, we announced the launch of a new Sales Team. Since then we’ve been developing and testing the concept and the team. At our mid-year conference last week, we announced we now have 8 more opportunities for Travel Consultants to take advantage of this fantastic Sales Team.
