British Airways returns to Southampton Airport After 13 Years

It’s been 13 years since British Airways last flew from Southampton, but the carrier is making a comeback this summer. The announcement has been hailed as ‘fantastic news’ by the airport.

From May 2021 passengers will be able to travel to Malaga, Florence, Faro, Mykonos, Ibiza, Palma de Mallorca, Bergerac, Limoges, Nice, Edinburgh, and Berlin. With the airline operating up to 17 flights each weekend!

This is incredible news, it’s showing BIG commitment in the travel industry from the trade.

It’s the opposite of what some people might be thinking about the travel industry, here we are seeing more opportunity and investment.
