Consultant nails £22k cruise 39,000ft in the air with our help late one evening

When we say you can earn money as a Not Just Travel consultant from anywhere, we really mean it. 

While some agents take bookings in the airport, on the beach or on the school run, consultant Nong sealed a cruise sale literally out of the sky.

Homeworking travel consultant Nong, was about to board her flight to Jamaica in November to attend our free Elite company mentorship retreat when a client contacted her to say they’d like to go ahead with her quote for a multi-generational cruise with Norwegian Cruise Lines, one of our key trade partners.

Knowing that she needed to secure specific flights and the right cabins, time was of the essence which means Nong could not wait until her 13-hour flight landed. 

Luckily for Nong, her Virgin Atlantic flight offered the ability to buy wi-fi access, so once in the air, Nong whipped out her laptop, logged onto our booking system and got to work (yes, the beauty of this business is that it’s so flexible you can do it from anywhere!)

However, Nong had never booked a cruise with NCL before and the booking isn’t always straightforward the first time round.

“Each cruise line has its own nuances and I needed some help,” said Nong.

Between them, the £22,000 booking was made and confirmed some 39,000ft in the air. And as cruising offers great commission and a high level of repeat customers, Nong began celebrating before even beginning her free Caribbean trip.
