We’ve jetted 30 consultants out to explore the island and we’re thrilled to be partnering with Beachcomber Resorts, which owns eight luxurious properties on the island.
Daily Updates from Mauritius
The trip kicked off at the stunning Shandrani Beachcomber Resort in the south of Mauritius.
Consultant Lee shared his thoughts:

After a relaxing first day, the group is now diving into an inspiring conference led by our co-founder Steve Witt and other industry experts, offering powerful strategies to help them grow their travel businesses.
Elite Experience – Day 3
It’s challenge day in Mauritius! Our 30 consultants (on a free trip with our top Elite package) are hitting the road—driving from Shandrani in the south to the stunning Victoria Beachcomber in the northwest.
The challenge? Just a bit of fun to show how easy island driving is—so they can pass on the first-hand insight to their clients. Smart, right?
Perfectly positioned between the capital, Port Louis, and lively Grand Baie, Victoria Beachcomber is a fantastic base for exploring the best of Mauritius. Surrounded by lush tropical gardens and set on a beautiful white-sand beach, every spacious room offers uninterrupted ocean views — some of the biggest rooms on the island, in fact.
What else did our consultants discover? That the resort suits both couples and families with a dedicated adults-only wing and half board or all-inclusive options. There’s also a wide range of free land and water activities, although we spotted more agents unwinding by the infinity pool with a cocktail in hand watching the sun set!
Elite Experience – Day 4
Yes our consultants certainly enjoyed plenty of downtime at the stunning Victoria Beachcomber Resort, but then it was time to make the most of the experts on tour…
Day 4 marked another inspiring conference day, with co-founder Steve sharing invaluable insights on how to find and interview customers effectively — so that agents can truly understand what clients want from their holiday. He also highlighted the importance of tracking your numbers to stay on top of business performance.
Agents also heard from consultants Matt and Ash, who delivered an incredible talk about their journey. Once owners of a fish and chip shop, they were completely new to travel when they joined us in 2022. Fast forward to today, and they’ve become one of our top-selling consultants. Their story was packed with real-world advice and actionable tips to help others skyrocket their success.
Elite Experience – Day 5
Today franchisees had a tour of stunning Mauricia Beachcomber resort before being split up into small teams and given another challenge…. They had to make their way to the beautiful Canonnier Beachcomber resort without using Google maps or spending any of their own money…
While some agents used the bus, others hitched a lift with a local. One team even went by boat for free somehow! The aim of the game? To show how friendly the locals are and frequently the buses traverse the island.
Elite Experience Day 6
Agents enjoyed more insights from co-founder Steve Witt today at an all-day conference with opportunities to also learn more about social media from one of our team members.
Sarah Archer, UK sales manager for Beachcomber Tours, also gave a talk and answered agents questions about Beachcomber and how agents can book weddings and packages through the tour operator.
Agents then travelled to Trou aux Biches, known for its crystal-clear waters and superb beach.
Elite Experience Day 7
After a stunning lunch and private tour of the breathtaking Paradis Beachcomber — perched on a crystal-clear lagoon in Mauritius’ southwest — our consultants were swept away to the nearby Dinarobin Beachcomber, tucked at the base of the majestic Le Morne mountain.
The evening? Nothing short of legendary.
A glamorous gala dinner brought the energy, with a live DJ, non-stop dancing, delicious food, and a cocktail (or three) in hand.
Let’s just say… the next morning started a little slower for some!
But Steve had the perfect cure: skip the conference only if you sent a WhatsApp to 10 customers with a photo of the hotel and the message:
“Found you the perfect hotel.”
