Not Just Travel’s newly appointed head of trade relations Katrina Latimer is to curate a small group of experienced travel professionals for its new homeworking division.
Currently, 99% of Not Just Travel consultants come from outside of the industry. “The collapse of Thomas Cook has left many people feeling unsettled,” Latimer told TTG. “Becoming your own boss gives independence and security.” Not Just Travel will appoint a maximum of 10 new recruits over the next few months, with each undergoing a period of “intense and targeted training”. This number will grow over time. “We’re not going to teach them what they already know,” continued Latimer. “We’ll be igniting their entrepreneurial spirit and teaching them how to become successful business owners. One of the biggest concerns people have when they join us is how to find customers – that’s what we’re good at.”
Not Just Travel co-founder Paul Harrison added: “Look what we have achieved so far by taking people from outside of the industry. Imagine what we can do when we take existing travel professionals and make them into successful entrepreneurs.”
Those interested are encouraged to contact Not Just Travel “as soon as possible”.
