Get Ready Before Peaks: Just 3 Training Dates Left In 2020

Updated 14th September 2020

To those new to travel and the industry lingo, ‘peaks‘ might not mean much. But if you’re considering starting a travel business from home either this year or next then it’ll be worth paying attention to.

What Are Peaks?

‘Peaks’ refer to some key months such as January, when most people book and plan their holidays for the rest of the year.

Why is January a Peak in Travel?

There are different theories about why January is the biggest month of the year for travel sales. Cast your mind back to Boxing day, once all the Christmas festivities are over, that’s when the adverts for travel all kick in! Simply put, it’s the way things have always been done, and this is a tradition that’s here to stay.

Our franchisees typically sell 4 times more holidays in the month of January compared to the rest of the year, and the rest of the year is already very busy… So, imagine what January looks like!

If you wait to get trained in 2021 you’ll miss the opportunity to benefit from the best month of the whole year. All your family, friends, colleagues, etc. will undoubtedly look to book their holiday for the coming year in January.

What are the training dates left in 2020?

Still worried about COVID-19?

If you’re worried about COVID-19 and fear that no-one will book their holidays, check out what’s next for travel, how travel agents saved the summer, how our travel insurance will build confidence, and why studies have shown how anticipating a future situation (especially a pleasurable one like a holiday) can sometimes help us to get through a difficult present situation.

As human beings, we need things in our future to be excited about and optimistic about.

On a fundamental level, anticipation can be a very valuable and positive emotion to experience. It might even be necessary to live a truly happy and satisfying life.

The emotion machine

Furthermore, consumers are increasingly turning to travel agents (AKA personal travel consultants) post-COVID-19, as they look for advice from an expert they can trust and the confidence of booking with a person rather than just online.

For those who don’t want to travel abroad in January, Staycations are an easy way to have a retreat. When you join us you’ll get access to amazing holiday offers for UK trips.
