Meet Tamsin, who’s currently celebrating launching her business with a substantial first booking worth £8,000.
And even though the trip was a multi-centre adventure to Sri Lanka and the Maldives, Tamsin found it relatively straightforward, despite never having worked in travel before.
Like 98 per cent of our franchisees, Tamsin’s previous career was in a completely different industry.
Yet, after working in a senior position in the IT industry for 30 years, she decided to change her life when her husband was attacked and lost the sight in one of his eyes in 2022.

“After he nearly died it was like the universe was telling me it was time to reassess our lives and not to take things for granted. If you do a job you love, you never work a day!”
Tamsin launched her business in April 2023 after investing in an Elite franchise with us.
“I did some research on ratings, commission structure, supplier relationships and found the team enthusiastic. As I have a passion for travel, two dogs and a husband who is a landscape gardener, I wanted the flexibility to move from Staines to Cornwall, so having a transferable business is perfect.”
As you can operate the business from anywhere, Tamsin hopes her sister, a lawyer, will come onboard when she retires in 2024.
Many of our franchisees work with a family member or friend, combining skills and enjoying trips together.
And Tamsin is definitely planning to travel – a lot!
“I’m going to take advantage of the perks. Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer!”

That said, while some of our franchisees work part time, Tamsin is also planning to work full time, and is aiming for 50 repeat customers in her first year with a goal of £4k profit each month.
Her first booking, for friends of friends, is one of many that she’s currently planning, predominantly for older couples. The holidays range from Everest base camp walks, to Lapland and adventures in Thailand.
