Travel entrepreneur Ben only launched his business 16 weeks ago but he’s already so successful he’s ready to follow his dream full time.
Ben Casey, 33, became a franchisee Travel Consultant in July. Since then he said that things have gone so well that he’s handed in his notice as Divisional Marketing Manager for McCarthy and Stone and will be a full-time travel business owner in January.
How a franchise is helping with a work-life balance
Ben’s motivation for wanting to be an entrepreneur and own his own business is a change of lifestyle.
It’s the lifestyle benefits that are important; being able to work from home and have that flexibility!
How the support of The Travel Franchise has helped grow Ben’s business
Ben has always worked in a customer and leisure focused industry. He said it was travelling round the world with his friends after university that cemented his love of organising travel.
The support offered by The Travel Franchise’s mentor scheme had really helped Ben grow his business, he said:
“My mentor has been brilliant. She’s always there and helps keep me focused. The support is amazing – it’s more than I believe you get with competitors.”
