Our consumer-facing brand Not Just Travel (NJT) kicked off the year last weekend with three major events including the first-ever Platinum conference for our top achievers – homeworking travel consultants who have sold more than £1 million-worth of holidays.
Co-founders Paul Harrison and Steve Witt, along with key members of the NJT corporate team, invited select travel consultants to celebrate and recognise their achievements and success.

Some of our homeworking travel consultants’ results are so impressive that 10 of their bookings amount to £1.3 million in sales.
2022 saw Not Just Travel double turnover compared to the previous 12 months, with the autumn launch of a Cruise Division helping increase cruise sales dramatically from an 11% share to 25% by the end of the year.
“We invested millions in recruitment in 2022 to help our consultants achieve success and this has been particularly noticeable in terms of cruise sales,” said Steve Witt who also unveiled a new cruise video – an industry leading TV quality production, tipped to be one of the best tools ever seen to help find new-to-cruise customers.
“At some times during the later part of 2022 we were the top UK sales agents for key cruise partners.”

Witt added that January sales were even more buoyant with huge growth expected in 2023.
“We have already seen sales in January more than double for the same period last year.”
While a huge party enabled top-performing consultants to celebrate, there was also plenty of time for agents to take to the stage and share the secret of their success.

Each one stated that they simply listened and followed what they were taught by Not Just Travel’s expert trainers and personal mentors, Business Development Managers (BDMs) that have decades of experience working in the travel industry.
While some have seen success through social media using Facebook Live and Instagram, others have boosted cruise sales by joining our Cruise Mastery programme, joining network groups, partnering with local companies or launching pop-up shops in cafes. Some are successful due to incredible customer referrals and repeat clients.
The event also celebrated the success of our Key Trade Partner programme, with a Supplier Expo enabling 37 of our top travel partners to exhibit and share their key product news.

The weekend also included a New Year New Start Training workshop which focused on the skills and activities to help skyrocket sales during Peaks, the January to March period which marks the busiest time of the year when consultants typically sell four times more holidays.

Experts shared practical and quick tips for success, with many new skills learned by even experienced consultants, most of which had never worked in the travel industry before they invested in The Travel Franchise.
