It’s The Small Touches That Can Make You Successful

If the Travel Franchise had its own dictionary, it is fair to say if you were to look up the word legend that franchisee David Walker’s name would appear.

He has recently hit a momentous £7 million in sales and has achieved this in just five years. Having previously worked in HR, David decided to leave the corporate world behind and make a change. He had always had a passion for travel and wanted to do something he loved – every day! He has never worked in travel, but this was not a barrier to David’s success.

A large part of David’s success is his commitment to going that extra mile with his customers. Last week David took time out of his busy schedule to deliver some Christmas presents to a selection of his local clients. These thoughtful gifts demonstrated the high regard that David has for his customers. His attention to detail and rapport building skills has resulted in him receiving a high value booking for a honeymoon (along with an invite to the customers evening reception) in the region of £70k.

He also generated a booking to the Maldives worth £25k and another booking to the USA trip to the value of £20k. This just goes to show why David is one of our top sellers and how  a few personal touches can make a difference between a one-time booking and a lifelong relationship.

Within one week of completing his initial training at head office in Bournemouth David made his first booking which was worth £3000, and the success continued from there.  David has been supported by The Travel Franchise team all the way and now uses his vast experience and skills to help inspire and mentor other franchisees.
