As a travel consultant, it’s normally the customer who gets to enjoy the holiday you book for them – not you! However, for successful duo Colman and Rachael, their customer is taking them along for the ride.
As avid football supporters, it was via their network of fellow fans of the beautiful game that they were introduced to a businessman looking to incentivise and reward his top 20 clients and their partners with a trip of a lifetime.
Colman and Rachael set about researching and organising the trip, with Cape Town being the destination of choice for four days and three nights.
With no expense spared, they created an itinerary that included a Harley Davidson bike tour at the world-famous Cape Point; a power boat trip to see Seal island and the penguin colony; a trip to a wine estate with each of the invited couples transported in classic cars, including Bentley and Rolls-Royce models, and a private cocktail party at famous Table Mountain, the most iconic landmark of South Africa.
Having organised all the logistics, down to the smallest detail, Colman and Rachael were justifiably proud of the final VIP itinerary. Yet, along with the healthy commission they earned, the best reward came when the client actually invited the couple to join the trip itself to ensure it all ran smoothly! A bonus indeed.
