The government announced new travel rules yesterday that make travel even easier – and bookings have surged.
From 4am on 11th February, lateral flow tests on day 2 of return to England will be scrapped.
Since the news broke, our consultants have seen a huge influx of bookings.
Demand has already been high since ‘Peaks’ started. And the latest announcement has just added that extra boost of customer confidence.
Customers are eager to get away as soon as possible, with many looking for late-availability breaks this February.
People are spending more on their holidays
Customers are not just being quick to act. They’re spending more after picking up the phone to their Personal Travel Consultant.
One consultant made a huge £21,000 booking not long after the latest news broke.
Just this one booking would create you around £2,600 in commission.
Summer 2022 also remains the most popular season for bookings.
Millions of Brits are eager to make up for lost holiday time – yesterday’s top destinations included Spain, USA, Greece, Portugal, UAE and Turkey.

Valuable extras = more commission
Customers want full protection and a seamless holiday. It means they’re booking even more with their consultants as a one-stop shop.
That includes taking out travel insurance and pre-booking their airport hotels and parking. All of this is great news, because it increases your profit-per-booking as a franchisee, while giving customers what they already want.
The trend is happening industry-wide
Jet2holidays, one of our Key Trade Partners, said it has already seen an “immediate and dramatic” increase in searches and bookings.
Speaking to Travel Weekly, Chief Executive of Jet2holidays Steve Heapy said they were planning a larger summer holiday package for 2022 than pre-pandemic levels in 2019.
“We have seen a notable increase in demand for holidays and flights across all seasons, particularly February half term, the Easter holidays and Summer 22,”
Steve Heapy, Chief Executive of Jet2holidays
And elsewhere, the Managing Director for Tui UK told the BBC that he removal of arrival tests was a “huge leap forwards in getting travel back to normal”.
“We now expect summer 2022 bookings to be back to pre-pandemic levels.”
Andrew Flintham, Managing Director for Tui UK
Cruise is the word in January
This month alone, our franchisees have doubled cruise sales. All with the help and support of their Partnership Managers, alongside the training and collateral provided by suppliers and our in-house marketing team.
Weekly training sessions are held, with the latest cruising updates including exclusive offers and new itineraries, with top tips on how to sell cruising.

There’s still time to capitalise on the travel rebound
January & February training weeks were both completely full. Our next training week is March 21st-25th.
It runs Monday-Friday and is delivered live & online, so there’s no need to travel.
You can secure your training place this week with just a deposit. And then you could be building up excitement about your new business among friends, family and everyone you know. All while you get ready to launch your own agency on the Friday your training finishes.
New consultant Ami made her first booking right after training (and then did £75k of sales including cruises in just 12 days).
