Meet Angela and Richard Jackson. Before joining Angela split her time between being a virtual PA for a solicitors firm and being a celebrant for funerals. After 5+ years she was ready to move on and was looking to subsidise the work as a celebrant. Richard her husband had sold his business at the time and was also looking for his next project.
Both Angela and Richard was looking to embark on a new adventure together when they came across the Travel Franchise. The perfect opportunity to utilise their many years of experience in customer service.
This couple likes taking a holiday here and there, but with grandchildren and a love for the English countryside, their favourite thing to do is to take their caravan, with the dog, and go on long walks.
We caught up with Angela to find out more…
So, why did you choose The Travel Franchise?
The support and in-depth training really stood out to us. Watching the video tour, with Paul, in the discovery centre set the scene to how much support there was. This was really important, as the travel industry was very new to us.

Tell us about your first ever booking as a personal travel consultant?
When our first-ever holiday booking came in it was a mixture of being absolutely terrified and hugely excited! It was a bit an adrenaline rush for us. The holiday booking was a package deal, in Lanzarote.
A friend had mentioned the travel services we now offered to another friend. The lady had been looking on the internet for a while and couldn’t find anything. Once we had revised her budget together, we found the perfect holiday for her and she was a very happy customer.
