Meet Frances, aged 38, from Aberdeen in Scotland who joined us with the Elite franchise package.
Ready to launch a men’s grooming product range this summer her plans changed the moment she came across The Travel Franchise.
Frances has 3 children, a dog, hens, and 4 cats in her beautiful, country farmhouse. She had been working in the oil and gas industry for 12 years before she was furloughed following the pandemic.
Her closest friends and family describe her as a real grafter.

What was your first holiday booking like and who was it for?
The first-ever booking I did as a Personal Travel Consultant was a holiday to Bulgaria for 2021, it was for my mum and her 2 friends.
It’s a very popular, all-inclusive hotel, on Sunny Beach.
I got a bit carried away with the excitement of it all and booked my family on it as well. So, it went from a 3-person booking to an 8-person booking!
Why did you decide to start your own travel business?
I’ve always loved travelling. Friends and family have always involved me in some way with their holiday.
It’s a unique story really…I was due to go live this summer with another business, a men’s grooming product range. I had the website ready, I’d invested in the branding… everything from A-Z was ready to go live.
I then randomly came across an advert for The Travel Franchise one evening when I was searching for a holiday online.
I stayed up for hours watching the video tour presented by Paul, even into the early hours of the morning! My husband asked me why was I still up so late and hadn’t gone to bed.Because I had this men’s grooming product business ready to launch, I tried my best to find reasons not to do it.
I couldn’t find any faults in the business model, I loved what the company represented and the family vibe I felt throughout.
I’ve been in the oil and gas industry for 12 years, but I’m currently furloughed. I will go back at some point for sure and I plan to run my new travel business alongside.I’d like my husband to join me at some point in the future, so we can go on this adventure together.

What made you choose The Travel Franchise in the end?
I’ll be honest, I didn’t invest huge amounts of time in researching franchises, I didn’t do any comparisons with competitors, or look at the market.
I went with my gut, a good feeling I had about the company, and just joined. I chose the Elite Franchise Package. After I committed to joining I then decided to have a look online. After doing some research it was clear I had made the right choice.
I really liked Paul’s video tour and the website’s discovery center. Paul is the perfect balance of being to the point whilst being funny and very likeable.I love a scouser!
I’ve never had this happen to me before. I went to bed after first coming across The Travel Franchise but I just couldn’t stop thinking about it. I just knew in my heart this was the right path for me to take.
