Did you know we’ve just been named as one of the UK’s fastest-growing businesses and a finalist in The Scale-Up Business of the Year Award category at the British Business Excellence Awards?
While we don’t like to brag, this is the elite business awards programme for businesses of all shapes and sizes across the UK, so we do want to shout about it a little…
The award judges were clearly impressed with the speed of our growth – here’s why.
Launched in 2001 by our co-founders Steve Witt and Paul Harrison, Not Just Travel is one of the UK’s largest travel consultancies and last year doubled in size in terms of both sales and staff members. It is set to double again in terms of holiday sales over the next 12 months.
The Travel Franchise, meanwhile, is one of the UK’s fastest-growing travel franchises with one person joining a day currently. We give anyone the chance to invest in a ready-made travel company from as little as £2,995 and train to be a fully protected Not Just Travel-branded consultant in just five days. And we also provide ongoing training and support for as long as they want it.

Many of our members have no prior experience of working in travel yet have gone on to make tens of thousands of pounds in sales each month – some within their first month out of training. In fact, we now have hundreds of homeworking travel consultants across the UK who are making record-breaking profits and holiday sales. And winning awards too.
The winners of the British Business Excellence Awards will be announced in a glamorous ceremony on Tuesday 14th November 2023 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, so watch this space…
In the meantime, our co-founders Steve Witt and Paul Harrison are busy celebrating: “We have seen formidable growth in the past year and have very ambitious plans for our future. As a result of the incredible investment, injecting profits back into the training and support for our members, our expert travel franchisees are enjoying soaring profits. 2023 has proven to be a record-breaking year. We are delighted to be recognised for our recent success and bold plans for future expansion in the UK’s most prestigious business award.”
Sarah Austin, Founder & Director of the Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards, commented on the announcement:
“As the UK’s unrivalled celebration of business brilliance, resilience, and innovation – the Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards takes centre stage – and this year is no exception. The anticipation is electrifying as we gear up for the grand event at the glamorous Grosvenor Hotel.
“We’ve witnessed a spectacular level of submissions across a wide range of dynamic industries – highlighting just how much the UK business landscape is thriving. Kudos to each and every finalist who has made the shortlist – setting the bar high for what it means to be a champion in the business world.”
