Why we’ve been nominated for two more HSBC franchise awards for performance and innovation

In case you didn’t hear, we recently climbed another five places to no 12 in HSBC’s prestigious Elite Franchise Top 100 league table.

A top panel of independent judges scrutinised hundreds of franchises from all different industries to compile Britain’s definitive official directory of excellence in the franchise community and not only were we elevated to 12th place but we were the only travel franchise in the top 40!

And now there’s even more reason to celebrate.

The judges have singled us out for two additional awards:

  • The HSBC Exceptional Franchise Performance of the Year Award, which is based on the highest exceptional performance they have identified among this year’s entries.
  • The BusinessesForSale.com EF100 Innovation of the Year Award which recognises outstanding innovation in franchise marketing.

Our head of franchise marketing, Jenny Farenden, says:

“These nominations are the icing on the cake. To be recognised as one of the best franchises across all industries is a huge achievement and the fact that we are the only franchise in the travel industry to be included in the top 40 shows we are leaders in our field.”

One of the reasons we have moved up to the top of the UK’s franchise rankings is due to the incredible holiday bookings our franchisees have achieved as home-working travel consultants.

Indeed as we approach the end of 2023 some consultants have revealed incredible sales, like established consultants Mark and Isobel who have taken bookings worth over £3.7 million and Matt and Ash who have booked £1.5 million-worth of holidays this year despite only launching their business in 2022.

While some of our USPs include the incredible support and training we offer both in the UK and overseas at our free mentorship retreats, Jenny points out we’ve ramped up investment in recruiting travel experts and technology.

“We believe that part of the success our franchisees are achieving is due to the investment in technology. We recently launched a new cruise website and an innovative travel deals app to help consultants make money without doing any extra work.”
